On April 22nd, grade one students at SHSID Pudong went to the Aurora Museum in Shanghai for a further appreciation of Chinese Culture. Students were divided into several groups and were assigned a task before they went. Each group had to pick three favorite products in the museum and finish a poster after the trip. Therefore, the students rushed to the exhibition center for knowledge as soon as they arrived at the museum. Students saw different clay models, jade jewelry, Buddha structures, and so on. Even though they are in first grade, they showed a high appreciation level at this museum. From this experimental learning, students gained an authentic concept of the beauty of Chinese culture.
