History and Geography Department: High School Online Teaching Report

Teaching and learning in the subjects of history and geography have gone well. High school teachers have taught via Zoom, uploaded materials, assignments and quizzes through Blackboard and made full use of email and WeChat to keep contact with their students. Though school is suspended, learning is not disrupted. Lesson preparing groups from 9th to 12th grade worked together to make a semester plan, design homework and unit quizzes, share online teaching methods with each other. They have all done their best to minimize the inconvenience that might be caused by teaching in different places and time zones.

Online teaching and learning is a challenge to both teachers and students. During this special period, everyone needs to keep fighting. Teachers are continuously working on how to further improve teaching and learning efficiency based on ensuring quality. Students are also encouraged to actively cooperate with their teachers.
