Primary School Subjects Department: The 6th STEMx Competiton

The 6th Shanghai STEMx Contest was held at Xinsong Middle School on Dec. 22nd. Hundreds of contestants from schools all over the city joined this event. Students from the primary section took part in the creative building contest. Although it was during the Christmas break, four students from Pudong and Puxi campus formed SHSID Team and participated. With other teams from different schools, they finished their race cars with the given K’nex packet in 30 minutes. The final result will be announced in late December. Through this event, our young engineers learnt how to think as an engineer, how to test and improve their design. And most of all, they enjoyed their exploration. We believe that these young engineers will definitely surprise us with greater designs in the future.
