Puxi Grade 3 Story Mom: Courage

December 21, 2019

In their personal growth journey, all children will need courage to confront different changes that occur in life. During the PG class on the 18thof December, Story Mom shared a funny but thought-provoking story called “Courage.”

Story Mom started this story with a question and guided all children to reflect on what real courage is. She then described some courageous moments in daily life: courage can be letting nobody pick on your little brother, introducing yourself for the first time in a brand-new environment, or asking questions when you are confused. Whether it is the awesome kind or the everyday kind, courage deserves to be complimented and praised.

After the story, all students discussed the topic of “Courage and Me” and wrote down their understanding about courage. Greatly inspired by this story, they all started to look for courage in everyday life. At the end of class, the Story Mom encouraged them to use a positive mindset in adversity or in prosperity and treat both success and failure as courageous opportunities in life.
