Music Group: The 2019 Shanghai Middle School Piano Competition

The 2019 Shanghai Middle School Piano Competition was held in the auditorium on March 22, 2019. After a fierce preliminary contest, 10 players from the local and international division gathered for the final round. Professor Shi Zhong from Shanghai Normal university and professor Zhang Wei from East China Normal University served as the judges. The competition was divided into two parts. The first performance was of the selected pieces, which showed the players' performance skills and expression. The second performance was an improvisation, which tested players’ ability to improvise. As this year’s piano competition has come to a successful conclusion, we look forward to your participation next year!
