Yido He started playing the violin when he was only five. He plays the violin with a piano trio outside of school. He is also the president of the school string ensemble, a group which has given many great performances both inside and outside the school. Practicing the musical instrument requires a lot of effort and patience. After years of practicing, he realizes that his years of practice enabled him to be more patient and attentive. Classical music is one of those areas full of jargons, which makes it very difficult for people to appreciate the structure, development, and graceful details. His suggestion on classical music appreciation or learning is to keep on listening and start from small things like paying attention to the gestures of the conductor in a symphony.
