Grade 3: Celebrating Halloween

November 1, 2019

On Oct 31st, the primary section celebrated Halloween by dressing up in costume. In the morning, all children came to school in a variety of costumes, with their Jack-O-Lantern buckets in hand. They dressed up as shrewd Na Cha, the almighty Monkey King, noble queens, fearsome ghosts, and so forth. All the teachers from Grade 3 were dressed up as superheroes to celebrate this carnival together!

The students learned about this holiday by participating in hands-on activities, watching videos, reading stories, and so on. The most exciting part was when all children went “trick-or-treating” door by door. Very soon after, their little buckets were filled with candies. All of the children were happy that they got to experience the distinctive features of this holiday.
