On May 31, 2021, Zuo Wenwen, associate researcher of Shanghai Observatory, Chinese Academy of Sciences, was invited to Shanghai High School International Division to give students a lecture on black holes. Ms. Zuo's speech was vivid and interesting and attracted many teachers and students.
What is a black hole? Do black holes really exist? How are black holes formed and how do they grow? Why make friends with black holes? In view of the doubts in everyone's mind, Ms. Zuo talked about the past and present life of black holes in the simplest of words. The latest research on black holes aroused students’ endless thirst for knowledge and exploration.
At the end of the lecture, several students from the Astronomy Club were still not satisfied and had a deeper discussion with Ms. Zuo.
