A Briefing of Early Admission College Application Results of the Class of 2023

As the new year of 2023 approaches, the SHSID graduating class of 2023 has received a handful of good news with their early college application results.


As of December 22, the class of 2023 has received 107 offers or conditional offers from the U.S., the U.K., and other countries and/or regions. Among them, there are 49 early decision/early action (ED/EA) offers from U.S. colleges, 44 conditional offers from U.K. colleges, and 14 conditional offers from colleges in other countries and/or regions.


From the U.S., the following universities have sent their offers: Princeton University, Yale University, Stanford University, Brown University, the University of Chicago, Wellesley College, Johns Hopkins University, Emory University, New York University, Carnegie Mellon University, Northwestern University in Qatar, Tufts University, the University of Rochester, Brandeis University, Case Western Reserve University, the Berklee College of Music, the Pratt Institute, Parsons School of Design, etc. Some universities, such as Wellesley College, have sent more than one offer.

From the U.K., the following universities have sent their conditional offers: the Imperial College London, the University of Edinburgh, the University College London, the University of St. Andrews, King's College London, the Durham University, the University of Warwick, the University of Bath, the University of Leeds, the University of Manchester, etc. Besides, a number of students have completed their interviews with the Universities of Cambridge and Oxford, and their application results will be released after January 15, 2023.

The graduating class of 2023 has also received offers from universities in other countries and/or regions. They are not listed here in detail.


Congratulations to all the seniors who have received their early application results. We hope the seniors who are still working on their college applications can realize their dreams and keep on working hard. Everyone can be his or her own hero.
