Grade 12: Lunch Ordering Mini-Program Developed by Students

March 25, 2021

On the morning of March 19th, 12th-grade students gathered in the Xianmian Annex for an Assembly. This week’s presentation featured three fellow senior students with an intriguing topic: a WeChat mini-program for ordering Sodexo meals.

Previously, students were able to order lunch from the cafeteria in advance to get it delivered to Xianmian Building, but the main problem was that there were far too many students in line. This resulted in inconvenience and inefficiency, which this new mini-program sought to solve. Named “SHSID Fan,” thismini-program would enable students to directly order from their smartphones.

To support this remarkable project, all the students and teachers scanned the QR code to order a trial meal on the mini-program. The operation is simple: enter your name and student ID to log in, check the daily menu, select the desired meal, and then you're done!

When completed, this mini-program will undoubtedly be a significant improvement to students’ convenience here at SHSID. And we hope the creativity power of our students will continually contribute to making campus life better.
