Achievements and Matriculations

SHSID has around 200 senior graduates each year. According to preliminary statistics, about 57% students from the class of 2024 have selected the United States as their primary destination. Additionally, about 38% students have chosen universities in the United Kingdom, Canada, Japan, South Korea, as well as other European and Oceanic countries or regions, while a smaller number (less than 5%) have opted to continue their studies in  Mainland of China. With our growing international reputation, more and more graduates of SHSID have been accepted by top universities around the world, including Harvard University, Yale University, Princeton University, Stanford University, MIT, University of Chicago, Duke University, Brown University, University of Pennsylvania, Dartmouth College, University of California-Berkeley, etc. in the U.S.; University of Oxford, University of Cambridge, Imperial College London, London School of Economics and Political Science, University of Edinburgh, etc. in the U.K.; University of Toronto, McGill University, University of British Columbia, etc. in Canada; Tokyo University, Kyoto University, Keio University, Waseda University, etc. in Japan; Seoul National University, Korea University, Yonsei University, etc. in South Korea; National University of Singapore, Nanyang Technological University, etc. in Singapore; Peking University, Tsinghua University, University of Hong Kong, Hong Kong University of Science and Technology, Chinese University of Hong Kong, etc. in China. Talented graduates were even admitted into famous art or music schools, such as Rhode Island School of Design and Berklee College of Music. SHSID actively guides and supports every student towards realizing their own dreams. The high school college counseling office designs a series of personal growth programs to help students discover who they are and get into their best fit colleges.
