Equipped with a full range of instruments and equipment and staffed by 15 outstanding teachers, the Music and Drama Center of SHSID is a comprehensive art education center that facilitates the teaching of music, dance, and drama. The center not only accommodates various art courses spanning over 100 teaching hours per week, but also provides professional teaching and practicing environments for over 30 extracurricular societies and clubs. The concert hall, in particular, is designed for medium and mini-sized orchestras and choruses, or other solo performances. It has accommodated many international and interscholastic exchange events and competitions since its establishment. In addition, there are 40 piano practice rooms in the annex building of the center, providing a professional environment for art education across the International Division.
