The SHSID Middle School encompasses Grades 6 to 8. Based on the educational concepts of "Being an independent learner and responsible world citizen", we help students to build their personalized learning support system. Middle school is a critical period for the rapid growth in learning habits and thinking abilities. Our curriculum focuses on the cultivation of core competencies and key abilities such as critical thinking, creative thinking, cooperation and leadership, communication and multicultural understanding. Students are equipped with cognitive methods, and relevant knowledge and skills to solve future problems. The tailored youth development and service-learning curriculum in the middle school cultivates students' growth mindset from the three dimensions of personal growth, social participation and global awareness, so as to make students become self-directed lifelong learners. We hope that each student will find his or her own development path and grow into a responsible, reflective, determined and empathetic world citizen.
