Pudong Campus Grade 5: Prioritize, No Procrastination

March 9, 2021

After starting their life in grade 5, many students found that they were dealing with a heavier workload and a tighter schedule. Thus, developing some efficient methods to multitask would be extremely important and beneficial. During the P&B class on Mar. 9th, 5th graders of the Pudong campus learned about prioritization and practiced the skills, as well.

In the beginning, some students volunteered to share their experience in time management and task organization. And then, a video clip on the Eisenhower Matrix was played in front of the class, from which the students learned how to decide on and prioritize tasks by urgency and importance. After that, they were divided into several groups and practiced their newly acquired skills, categorizing their daily tasks and determining the priority.

Through such practice, the students began to realize the importance of effective time management. We believe that these skills will not only improve the students’ productivity but also will prepare them for upcoming middle school life.
