On the morning of February 19th, 2021, Chinese teachers from the middle school math department held the first teaching and research group meeting of the semester in the Zhentao Building Room 101. The meeting was presided over by Ms. Yan Jie, head of the middle school math department. First off, Ms. Yan introduced the new teachers who joined the staff this semester, and everyone expressed a warm welcome. Then, Ms. Yan elaborated on the upcoming work this semester, including confirming the leader of the lesson preparation group, clarifying the detailed rules of peer teaching between experienced teachers and new teachers, and outlining the relevant mathematics activities of this semester. Afterward, all teachers arranged demo classes, delegated test creation responsibilities, and discussed requirements for LC tiles. These conversations ensured that all teachers have a clearer understanding of the objectives for the new semester and are full of enthusiasm for the future!
