Grade 6: New Year Gift Exchange

January 6, 2021

On Thursday, December 31st, grade 6 had a New Year’s party. Every sixth-grade class gathered in their homerooms, waiting to receive their New Year’s presents. The students felt so excited to choose a random gift, not knowing the anonymous sender or what was inside. The homeroom teachers also participated in this wonderful exchange gift activity along with the students.

As the sound of tearing and ripping the colorful holiday-themed wrapping paper filled the room, students screamed in anticipation and excitement. Some presents were fancy feather pens, pencil cases, and some simple home appliances. Others were aesthetic and cute lamps, popular table games, or a blind box. Smiles were on every child’s face as they shared snacks and talked about their plan for 2021 happily.

Before the bell rang, students waved goodbye to their teachers and friends, saying “See you next year!” or “Have an amazing New Year!”.
