Pudong Campus Grade 2: Kids Experience Wonders of the World

December 31, 2020

Over the past three weeks, the second-grade students have been learning about the many different “Wonders of the World”. After taking time to learn about them, they were tasked with making a creative “CLIPS” video about the Wonder of the World that they were assigned. The students did a marvelous job of showcasing their creativity and making some great videos. These videos were a way for the students to give examples and show what they had learned through their time in class and also through their own independent study of the Wonders of the World.

Some of the Wonders of the World that the students created videos for were The Taj Mahal, Temple of Artemis, Hanging Gardens of Babylon, the Roman Colosseum, and the Great Pyramids. The students loved the challenge of using technology and incorporating it into a project that allowed them to explore history while also being imaginative and innovative with their skills. Once the projects were finished, many of the students were eager to share their videos with their classmates and watch the videos of those created by their peers.
