Puxi Campus Grades 1-3: Wonderful Memories from Art Festival

December 17, 2020

As the Christmas season draws near, the time for our annual art festival has arrived. Both students and teachers have spent several months preparing for the festival. We are very proud of the time and effort that our students have put into the show. On December 17th, the morning of the art festival, all our primary students from Grade 1 to 3 came into their classrooms with joy and excitement in their hearts. The six student hosts were fantastic throughout the event: Sofia, Jansen, Belle, Evan, Eden and Eric, showed great confidence and elegance on stage. Furthermore, the teachers’ Christmas themed dance at the beginning of the show was full of energy and excitement. Every class gave an exceptional performance. Our wonderful students could very well be professional dancers and singers!

The show continually got better and better and climaxed with an appearance from Santa! Santa Clause brought some lucky students’ gifts. Mr. Liu, the principal of the middle and primary school, Ms. Bao, the vice principal of the middle and primary school, and Ms. Miao, the middle and primary school principal assistant, announced all the lucky students who received a gift from Santa. When the lucky boys and girls came up on the stage to receive a surprise gift, everyone applauded and cheered. All of the students were so excited to see Santa!

To close the show a traditional Chinese dance was performed by both Chinese and foreign teachers, which highlighted the whole festival. Everyone was amazed by their beautiful performance. Ms Zhang, the director of grades one to three gave a closing speech to thank everyone for all the effort they put into the show.

The annual Art Festival for Primary Section SHSID is always a favorite among students each year. It will continue to be a most cherished memory for every student here at SHSID.
