On December 10th, 2020, the fourth grade on Puxi Campus discussed the last core value—work ethic—in the Personal Growth class. Teachers started with several quotes and asked students to share their understanding in their own words. Afterward, teachers introduced the big question of the class “How do you develop a good work ethic?”. After some discussion, the students watched a short video that connected with students’ daily lives. It revealed this teaching point that working hard is tiring while taking things as they are is easier. However, in the end, you will gain more in the future with your hard work. Finally, students wrote down things they did well, needed to improve, and shared them with the class.
