Make An Organized List in Math Class

December 10, 2019

On December 6th, all the first graders at SHSID’s Puxi Campus used teamwork to make a very interesting poster during their math class.

The first graders are working on making organized lists, so the math teachers in grade one designed a math project calledMake an Organized List. Working with their teams, the students had to make a poster. The posters displayed an organized list of the outfits of a girl called Sonia or a boy called Doudou. Sonia has two dresses and two birthday hats to choose from and Doudou has two T-shirts and two caps to choose from. The students needed to decide all of their outfit probabilities and paste all of them on the poster paper. They needed to finish a chart to list all the probabilities. All the students were working as a team efficiently and cooperatively. Most of the teams finished the task correctly and on time.

This math teamwork not only helped the students understand organized lists better, but also improved their teamwork and cooperation abilities.
