To encourage the students to improve their reading ability and explore more genres, the teachers from Grade 1 to Grade 5 prepared the Book Swap for all the students on Pudong campus during the last period on Nov. 28.

Firstly, the students were asked to bring about 3 to 4 old books, then received the same amount of tickets for the Book Swap. During the activity, the students selected books from their peers, and used the tickets to exchange them. Throughout the Book Swap, everyone had great fun of searching for interesting books, and the books were able to gain “second lives” as well.

Not only did the students share the good books they've read with their classmates, but they also got a chance to read new chapters from new books and explore new genres. What an eco-friendly and effective way to motivate the students to read!
