In order to encourage students to be stronger readers and to celebrate the month of reading, the third grade teachers at Pudong campus held a “Book Tasting” activity and invited all third grade students to the book café on November 28.

During the Book Tasting, students were encouraged to “try a bite” of the books to see if they liked them. This included looking at the cover of the book, reading a few pages, and flipping through to see any pictures or graphics.

After “tasting” several different genres, the Book Tasting activity concluded with Reflection Napkins. The third grade students felt the joy of reading through this meaningful and fun activity.
