During the P&B class on May 23rd, the fourth grader held a great team building activity. Using tape and scissors, the students prepared newspapers in groups consisting of five or six students.

In class, the students taped all the newspapers together in one large circular band that was big enough to hold everyone on the team. Then, all the kids stood inside the structure with their feet on the newspaper “track” below them and their arms holding the newspaper “track” above them. They took a step carefully while gently pushing the newspaper overhead forward. The students at the front of the line set the pace, keeping the newspaper tracks moving forward.

Through this activity, the students developed stronger team cooperation and realized the importance of teamwork.
