Puxi Campus Grade 5: Winter Break Chinese Homework Showcase

February 22, 2022

In the past winter break, fifth-grade students at SHSID Puxi Campus fully represented their independent learning abilities and self-reflecting abilities in their Chinese winter break homework.

Based on the vocabulary booklet provided by the teachers from the last semester, fifth-grade students choose an unlearned passage from the textbook and created a vocabulary booklet for it, including the new vocabulary terms, keywords and explanations, characters with similar forms, polyphone, synonyms, and antonyms. Students became their teachers and practiced independent learning skills in the process.

In the meantime, our soon-to-be graduates designed a resume based on their five-year school life. Besides personal basic information, students wrote a personal statement to share experiences and thoughts along with primary school learning. Students also used photos and words to show their wonderful after-school activities and personal interests. At the end of the resume, students wrote the goals for themselves and parents also gave words for the new semester.

We sincerely hope with the kind blessing from parents, students will achieve their personal goals and make better achievements!
