Reflection Seminar on High School Chemistry Teaching

On January 11, 2022, the high school Chemistry Department held a teaching reflection seminar for the three teachers' open classes this semester in Zhentao Building. Teaching reflection is an important part of teaching, which can promote the improvement of teachers' teaching and research abilities. Therefore, Mr. Sun Hao, the head of the Chemistry Department, organized this activity and encouraged everyone to brainstorm.

First, Zhao Tao, Yang Min, and Feng Siqiao introduced their teaching designs for open classes on the electrolyte solutions, electrons, and influencing factors on chemical reaction rates. After each teacher's presentation, other teachers expressed their opinions on the teaching design and class participation experience. Mr. Sun commented on each teacher's open class and invited all to think about the design of in-depth inquiry and discussion and how it can give students more room to think flexibly. The questions aroused interests of every teacher, and this lively discussion also made everyone realize that chemistry teaching is a process of continuous innovation and continuous change, and should be keeping pace with the times.
