Books are our friends who help us know more about the world and shape who we are. Since the first day of school at SHSID, grade one students were told that consistent reading is one of our educational goals. We encourage all students to read more good books and develop an excellent daily reading habit. To stimulate their reading interests and improve the reading quality, the grade one English group held the Favorite Book Sharing activity on January 4th.

Every student was required to bring their favorite book and give an oral presentation about their book. They can talk about anything related to the book! After a good amount of preparation, they all stood out very confidently and fluently; some even added riddles or Q&A sessions to highlight their books. We hope through this session; students can keep on their reading and enjoy the pleasure from books.
