Puxi Grade 4:Learn to be environmentally friendly

In week 13, Grade 4 had two special guests come to the auditorium to talk about the importance of taking care of our earth. The guest speakers were two parents: Ray’s mother from class 4(1) and Edward’s father from 4(5). The children enjoyed the discussion about reducing, recycling, and reusing, and were in awe of the scarf that had been made from plastic. We were all motivated to do our part to protect the environment!

In week 15, all of the grade 4 students went on an outing to a recycling station, which was introduced by the two parents in week 13, on Thursday during CAS class. During the visit, students got to create a vase out of recycled materials and they sorted trash into recycling bins that were labelled plastic, glass, paper etc. It was a very educational trip for the students. They are our future generation and it is up to them to change the recycling habits of the future.
