Adjustment of Tuition Standards for Shanghai High School International Division

With the approvals from the Shanghai Municipal Education Commission and the Shanghai Municipal Development & Reform Commission, the tuition standards of Shanghai High School International Division (SHSID) from the fall semester of 2021 will be adjusted to:

Primary School (Grades 1-5): RMB 70,000/semester

Middle School (Grades 6-8): RMB 75,000/semester

High School (Grades 9-12): RMB 78,000/semester

The tuition standards are adjusted as follows:

(1)For new students,that being students entering SHSID from the fall semester of 2021, the tuition fees will be subject to the above new standards.

(2)For current students,that being students who have already studied at SHSID before the fall semester of 2021, all tuition fees will continue to be paid in accordance with the original tuition standards within three years from the fall semester of 2021. Regarding the tuition fees from the fall semester of 2024, if the student has entered a new school section (e.g., entering middle school from elementary school, entering high school from middle school), the above new standards will be implemented. If the student is still in the original school section, the tuition fee will be paid according to the original tuition standards until graduation of the original school section. After entering the new school section, the above new standards will be implemented.

In the event of any dispute or misunderstanding, the Chinese version will be considered the primary source of guidance. SHSID reserves the exclusive right of interpretation of the terms and conditions in this document.
