Grades 9-10:Excellent Club Selection

June 17, 2021

As the schoolyear comes to an end, it is just time to review and reflect on the activities of various clubs. Thus, the ninth and tenth grades held a Star Club-selection event in the 16th week. A total of ten clubs from the 9th and 10th grades participated in this selection. The purposes and activities of the clubs covered a wide range from programming, environmental protection, astronomy to radio programs and poverty-alleviation projects for the mountainous areas, reflecting the rich and colorful after-school life as well as the concern and a little effort for the development of society.

All representatives of the participating clubs were dressed in formal clothes and passionately presented their well-prepared three-minute speeches, trying to present the style, activities, and reflections of their respective clubs in a better way. High School Vice Principal Liu Min, Grade Supervisor Wu Chen, and many other teachers and student judges listened to each speech very carefully, repeatedly checked with the score sheet, and gave scores and comments responsibly.

The selection will be the concluding activity for many clubs. After presenting, everyone took the opportunity to thank the school and the corresponding instructors for their help and to reflect on the problems that arose and the experience gained in this process. Focusing on the process, such selection will eventually promote a more enriched development of school clubs, inspiring more students to participate.
