Grade 9: Assembly - Time Management

June 8, 2021

On June 1st, with the students entering the Zhentao Lecture Hall, Assembly time was approaching. 12th grader Charlie came up to the stage. There was little chattering going on in the audience as this Assembly had quite a unique topic compared to the previous Assemblies. Instead of a normal 9th grader coming up for a speech, a 12th-grade student from SHSID came up to introduce his personal experiences and methods with time management. Some might consider time management as a boring and repetitive topic they hear all the time, but this lecture had its own unique point as it emphasized a person’s determination rather than actual strategic ways which are hard to follow. An interesting fact could have been learned about Charlie as he talked about how he quit all sorts of gaming and time-consuming apps (like Douyin, for example) while in high school. One’s will to commit something will lead to the achievement of it.
