Middle and Primary School Math Department: Mini Math Tournament at Berkeley 2021 Awards Winners

The 2021 Mini Math Tournament at Berkeley (BmMT) has been held successfully online. More than 700 students from more than 110 international and local schools in China participated in this competition. The BmMT is an organization that aims to spread the spirit of mathematical competition throughout the Bay Area by presenting students with interesting, hand-crafted problems. It offers an environment where students, educators, and mathematicians can come together and celebrate the spirit of mathematics. All middle school students could form a five-a-side team to compete for awards.

A special shout out to the students for their outstanding performance during the BmMT. They have won: (Individual Award) 7 Gold, 13 Silver, 8 Bronze, 13 Honorable; (Team Award) 15 Gold, 10 Silver, 18 Honorable; (Puzzle Round) 5 Gold, 20 Silver, 5 Bronze, 14 Honorable; (Pacer Round) 5 Gold, 10 Silver, 10 Bronze, 18 Honorable; (Team Round) 10 Gold, 20 Silver, 13 Honorable from the exam.

At the competition, students cooperate with and learn from each other. They takes the challenges and cultivated their interest in mathematics, which builds a solid foundation for their future study of mathematics. Once again, CONGRATULATIONS to all award winners and we are looking forward to achieving even better results in the upcoming mathematics competitions!
