Grade 6: Maker Experts in the Robotics Classroom

April 1, 2021

This semester, the sixth-grade elective course Maker Robotics is very popular among students. Here, the students become DIY experts. By building mechanical structures and programming robots, students can DIY various interesting devices such as small electric lamps that can adjust the brightness and color of light, small fans that can keep us cool, and robots that can blow bubbles, etc.

By learning Arduino, Mbot, and other open-source hardware and flexibly using various sensors such as light sensors, sound sensors, temperature and humidity sensors, etc., students can build many different kinds of creative works. These creative works are not only interesting and fun, but can also be used in real life, and even solve practical problems in life.

By taking this course, students not only improved their hands-on and programming skills, but also realized many of their own ideas, which made them feel very fulfilled.
