Grade 7 YD: Dealing with Stress

As the exams come closer, students start reviewing hard for the upcoming midterm. This leads to mental stress which might affect the contestant on their "battlefield". Therefore, in this week's YD class, the teachers presented a class to teach students the cause of stress and ways to relieve stress.


What is stress? Stress is defined as a state of mental or emotional strain caused by adverse circumstances. Therefore, stress management is vital. Then teachers continued explaining all the formulas which could be used like coloring pictures or meditating which led to the next activity: 10-min mediation. The whole class enjoyed a mind clearing 10 minutes, thinking about how wonderful life is and how there is a lot to be happy about. All of the students said that they benefited from this session and they were ready to turn it into a habit.


All in all, it is essential to stay positive and stress-free even at the harshest times. With that, please give meditation a try and best wishes to all the students on next week's midterm!
