On 17th September, 2022, several students from SHSID participated in the Australian Intermediate Mathematics Olympiad (AIMO) online or in their respective exam center.

The Australian Intermediate Mathematical Olympiad (AIMO) is hosted by the Australian Mathematical Trust (AMT). The AMT Committee and ASDAN China Limited have cooperated to bring the AIMO to China since 2018. This is a challenging event as students need to solve 10 difficult problems within four hours without using calculators. It gives talented students an opportunity to be recognized and to enhance their enjoyment and knowledge of mathematics.

A special shoutout to our students for their outstanding performance during the exam. They have won 1 High Distinction Award, 1 Distinction Award, and 2 Credit Awards.
