All Around the World in 60 Minutes -- Pudong Campus Geo Fair

November 17, 2022

During the PG class on November 15th, the long-anticipated world exploring time, the young world explorers of the Pudong campus started their exploration all over the world.

One week before the Geo Fair, teachers of Pudong campus kicked off the event and the students received a long countries/territories list from their teachers -- Chile, Spain, Egypt, Ireland, South Africa, Japan, Germany, French Polynesia, Mexico, and Cuba. All the students chose four favorite travel destinations among the ten choices. After getting the invitation from their favorite destinations, our students started to explore the world and had a fun and educational experience.

During the Geo Fair time, our young explorers enjoyed an informative mini lecture from each destination. The host teachers and their young assistants presented the unique geographic features and attractive cultures of their countries/territories in all dimensions. Our young explorers enjoyed the unique activities and delicate food in each country as well and had a better understanding of the physical features and cultures of all these destinations. Traveling from Chile, Mexico, Cuba, and French Polynesia in the Americas to Japan in Asia, to Spain, Ireland, Germany in Europe, and back to Egypt and South Africa in Africa, our young travelers were engaged in traveling, knowledge of Geography, and souvenirs from these countries in this Geo Fair. What is more important is that the students experienced the diversity of cultures throughout the world.

We believe that the young world explorers of today are sure to grow up to be better global citizens in the future!
