On March 1st, the weekly assembly of Grade 9 cast the topic of the Peer Advisor Program, an academic service group dedicated to assisting peers in various subjects and competitions. The PA Chief Leader, Harrison from 9(7), started the students off with a brief re-introduction to the various PA departments, including tutorials, journalism, posters, publicity, and resources. Following up, a recap of the first semester was given: 3 tutorials were held, resource guides were made for peers’ use, magazines were published, and lectures were held. Some reflections were also made on the PA program’s work over the first semester, and specific problems such as the allocation of service hours and organization of review materials were pointed out with corresponding solutions that will be applied in the second semester. Last but not least, Harrison gave insights into the PA Program’s goals of the semester and encouraged all to join the program.
