Puxi Campus Grades 1-3: Building Cooperation Skills and Finding “Win-win” Solutions

October 20, 2021

This week in Personal Growth class, the first-grade students demonstrated their understanding of managing conflict. The students practiced cooperating in order to have a “win-win” solution.

A “win-win” solution is when two people both have positive outcomes when solving a problem. Students were able to experience what it feels, sounds, and looks like to work together to solve a common problem. The winning pair of our “win-win” competition learned that empathy and critical thinking skills were crucial in resolving a conflict. Students learned that sometimes conflict cannot be avoided because not everyone shares the same view!

Overall, in today’s class the students completed an effective resolution through finding “win-win” solutions.
