Although the exciting sports week has come to an end, the excited atmosphere of the carnival is still active in the primary section. Grade 1-3 students participated in fun sports activities in their own grades.

For the G1 students, everyone felt excited for the first sports week! On Tuesday, G1 held an egg race game. All students held eggs with their spoons carefully. Everyone was trying their best. The child who guarded the egg was engrossed in their task, while the other students cheered for their classmate. Wednesday was Zumba Day, the continuous rain never extinguished G1 students’ enthusiasm for sports. They watched the video, followed the music, and tried their best to twist and jump around.

On Wednesday, the G2 students went to different classrooms according to the color they wore. In this activity, they had the opportunity to make many new friends. Students shared their names, birthdays, favorite colors and favorite sports in pairs. They had a hearty chat. After rice breaking, they brainstormed new games. Students were divided into five groups, they carefully designed the name, logo, rules and diagram of their own game. They were eager to play this game with others. Finally, students took out their color pens and tried to be little designers. They designed colorful and special jerseys with imagination and creativity.

The Grade 3 students also put on T-shirts of different colors and formed a new team with students from different classes. The autumn rain outside was trickling, but the enthusiasm of students was really high. Pushing the door of the classroom, the children were attempting to pick up marbles with chopsticks. The number of marbles they collected determined their victory. Some children were anxious, but some were very calm. There was a burst of cheers from the next door. It turned out that the table tennis had reached the finish line smoothly. A short while later, one student skillfully picked up a ping-pong with his chopsticks and walked quickly and steadily toward the finish line, with an anxious expression on his face. The cheerful music could be heard starting and stopping from the corridor. Pushing open another classroom’s door, the children who had just walked around the group of chairs quickly found the nearest chair and sat down. They were playing a game of "musical chairs". The final classroom was also very lively with a game of “hot seat”. The children needed to use their body and language to make the other person guess the words given by the teacher. After 10 minutes, teams of different colors rotated in an orderly manner. In this way, each student could participate in all four games. All the games were going on in an orderly manner; there was no pushing and no blaming of others. This was possible because of the sportsmanship skills their teachers taught them, they had already understood.

The sports week was a huge success! The little athletes enjoyed the fun of sports and looked forward to the sports week next year!
