Grade 7 Long Rope Skipping Competition

October 18, 2021

October 14th was an exciting day for all of 7th grade SHSID students, since it was the day of the highly anticipated long rope skipping competition.

In the first YD class, the classes worked hard to improve their skills of long rope skipping. Looking around, you’d find all of the classes working with high levels of effort and achieving their best. The sweat of hardworking students filled the entire school lawn with the smell of achievements.

The second YD class started the competition. Different classes started off differently, and the competition was off to a promising start! Everyone jumped as fast and as accurate as they could and tried their best. The scores were out! The top 3 classes were 7(8), 7(10), 7(4)! 7(8) had the astonishing score of 217 jumps!

Although the rope skipping competition was short, it showed the students' teamworking spirit. Hope there will be more exciting sports competitions in the future!
