Puxi Campus Grades 2-3: Promote Growth, Parents and School Work Together

October 9, 2021

The online parent meeting of the Puxi campus grade 2 and grade 3 was held on the evening of September 23rd. Chinese and foreign teachers introduced the curriculum, class management regulations, and the growth expectations of students in the new academic year. Grade two mainly focused on independence, efficiency, and parent-child interaction, hoping to help parents become intelligent and anxiety-free instructors. At the same time, it also emphasized the need to accompany and encourage children, in order to create a good growth environment.

“Give a man a fish, and you feed him for a day. Teach a man to fish, and you feed him for a lifetime.”Apart from cultivating students’ abilities to become independent learners, grade three also focusedon cultivating students’ abilities to establish self-growth goals. The goal is inseparable from the five elements of “specific, measurable, attainable, relevant and time-bound.” Students in grade two and grade three have learned this concept in their weekly personal growth class and applied it to their own learning progress.

Thiskind of parent meeting is practical and efficient, which is helpful for both parents and children. After the meeting, parents had a deeper understanding of the school’s philosophy of education and management system.
