Music for People Club: First Hit of Charity Concert

September 27, 2021

Amid the autumn breezes and the excitement for the upcoming National Holiday week, Music for People delivered its first note for the new semester on September 24th at the lobby of Renji Hospital. Founded 5 years ago, Music for People aims to use the power of music to spread positivity among those around them, and to relieve doctors, patients, and families from pressure. In this new semester, a series of campaigning expanded the club, allowing the recent concert to be more diversified and energetic. A series of performances including the string quintettes, various solos with piano accompaniment, the saxophone reprises, the singing, and the brass ensemble added much splendor to the charity concert. Although quite a few core members have graduated and gone off to college, Music for People continues to thrive under a new generation of leadership team and passionate members. The concert was also supported by leaders from both the hospital and SHSID, with Chief Yuan from Renji Hospital CPC’s publicity department and Ms. Liu Ming,Music for Peopleadvisor from SHSID watching the performance on site.
