Grade 10: How to Start and Manage a Club

September 26, 2021

Early in the morning of September 22nd, the students entered the ZT lecture hall for the third assembly of the semester. The host for the week, Ethan, came up to the stage to introduce the speaker, Victoria, from class 10(9). Victoria is an experienced club manager and a leader in Grade 10. She is the current PA student head and has participated in managing numerous events. Using these experiences, she decided to share a few ways in how to properly start and manage a club. Clubs aren’t all about the leadership skills attained for college applications. They’re about the passion and confidence that one can devote to using one’s time. Her purpose in this speech was to encourage students to find clubs related to their interests, rather than stressing themselves out with competition-related clubs for their improvement in academics. After all, clubs exist to let students pursue their interests.
