Puxi Campus Grade 1: Family-School Partnership

September 17, 2021

The online parent meeting of Puxi campus G1 was held on the evening of September 16, where teachers collaborated with parents to help primary one students better adapt to a new school life.

The meeting summarized school routines, work, and management, including the school’s philosophy of education, curriculum, subject learning goals, classroom management. The teachers at the meeting clarified and emphasized the school’s expectations of students: to enhance their cognitive ability, logical thinking ability, and self-directed learning skills.

The teachers shared students’ school life in the past two weeks, which alleviated some parents’ stress. They encouraged parents to be supportive to their kids at home. To help students attain a smooth transition to a pleasurable life at school, it is very crucial that parents, teachers, and school work together to know what kids are going through and understand their feelings.

The online meeting provided a space that allows effective communication between family and school. After the meeting, many parents said that they learned more about our school and the importance of the family-school partnership in helping students to become independent and confident people. We look forward to seeing our students make progress and enjoy their school life this year!
