Grade 10: Introduction to the Sophomore Project and College Counseling

On September 9th, the tenth graders gathered together in the Zhentao Building Lecture Hall to attend a lecture discussing the Sophomore Project and college counseling. Ms. Gu Ying gave the lecture and provided students with tips she gathered throughout her many years of being a teacher.

Ms. Gu began by first going through some of the events and assignments taking place throughout Grade 10. She introduced the Sophomore Project and further explained some of the key components of this assignment focusing on fing out "Who am I". Ms. Gu then referred to the booklet given to all students this morning, which was an extensive guide for college planning and preparation.

Going through the guide, she pointed out important details to note. She emphasized some crucial information about standardized testing, college applications, and other parts of the transition from high school to college. Ms. Gu gave students some valuable advice and tips for college planning.

Overall, this session was quite insightful and put students a step forward in their high-school journey.
