Puxi Campus Grade 5: Excellent Summer Holiday Projects

September 13, 2021

Fairy tales are always children’s good friends. Reading them is like going a wonderful trip to the places we’ve never known. Last semester, the current fifth grade students learned several fairy tales from the textbooks: they followed Wang Bar to experience the magic of the Gourd and learned the happiness of sharing at the Giant’s garden.

In the summer, students also tried to write a creative fairy tale on their own. In their writing, they had to use several phrases learned in the textbook, creating more challenges and fun to the creative writing project. We are impressed by students’ creative imagination in their fairy tales: animals and plants become the characters; the plots had many ups and downs; provoking meanings and thoughts are embedded in the story. Along with the fine and exquisite decorations. The projects were very nicely done.

Fairy tales enrich our lives, allowing children to enjoy the world beyond the reality. All the beautiful feelings and intelligent ideas of the fairy tales will always stay in the children’s mind and sparkle like the shells on the beach!
