After two years, the long-anticipated “Friday Club” has finally opened again! The students at SHSID Pudong campus are all so excited and cannot wait for it! Some new students might ask questions such as “What is Friday club?”, “What will I learn in Friday club?”, and many more. As its name implies, “Friday Club” includes a number of extracurricular courses carried out every Friday afternoon, aiming to cultivate students’ learning interests, expand their horizons, and enrich their study life.

On Friday, September 10th, 2021, students and teachers shared a unique time in the auditorium at the Pudong campus, where the Friday Clubs were introduced to the students. For students, it is a great chance to choose clubs that they are interested in. For teachers, it is an excellent platform to impart their skills and knowledge and communicate with students. During the one-hour introduction, teachers presented their projects and products from their clubs, which included various activities, like Lego Robot, Paper cutting, Hat making, Chess, Clay, Jazz, etc. These presentations were so exciting and enticing that students just could not wait to join their favorite clubs!

Interest is the best teacher. After the presentation, students will choose their favorite club. We hope that they can develop their independent learning skills, explore, and have fun with their teachers in Friday Club! Are you ready? Come pick your Friday Club!
