Grade 7: Youth Development Class—Goal Setting

September 7, 2021

The arrival of the new semester not only means a new round of learning experiences, but also a new journey, and new challenges. It is a good time to analyze their strengths and weaknesses and set reasonable goals for themselves. In the youth development class, on September 2, the seventh grade students learned the SMART goal setting method and set their own goals for the new semester.

SMART (specific, measurable, attainable, relevant, time bound) goal management incorporates all of these criteria to help focus your efforts and increase the chances of achieving your goal. By learning this method, the students not only established clear goals, but also made reasonable plans. Many students also added specific details on how to achieve goals and complete the plan. Teachers gave encouragement and suggestions according to the students’ plans.

We believe that the students who have just been promoted to grade 7 will work harder to achieve their “small goals” and “big dreams.”
