On September 2nd, Ms. Chen Lin introduced a new TA system to the 10th graders. She mentioned that the TAs are enthusiastic to talk to students about academic performance, time management, emotion regulation, course selection, and peer relationships. However, there are numerous occasions where students visit the TA office merely to satisfy the requirements for the student passport. To the students who cannot think of a topic to talk to the TAs about, Ms. Chen Lin gave students some example topics such as reflections, interests, goals, plans, strategies, and mood.

As a remedy to the lack of participation, the TA office proposed the TA House Program. The TA House Program will organize a manifold of intellectual activities such as lunch talks, lectures, seminars, and PA lectures. The teachers hosting the House have diverse specialties, allowing students to choose the most suitable TA. The TAs hosting the Houses are Ms. Chen Lin, Ms. Christina Sloan, Ms. Ye Zhen, Mr. Wu Jianjing, Ms. Sun Liming, Ms. Ma Yanbo, Ms. Xu Jiangye, Ms. Yang Min, Ms. Jiang Min, and Mr. He Tianzhou. The objective of the TA House Program is to provide students with opportunities to further exchange ideas, investigate interests, and learn particular skills.
