Grade 12: Senior Orientation

September 7, 2021

The semester was off to a productive and fulfilling start as 12th-grade students prepared for their college applications during the Senior Orientation on Sep. 1st.

During the last two periods in the afternoon, the students could choose to do anything related to their college applications. Some chose to work on their own, editing their resumes, updating their college lists, writing their college essays, and more. Others talked to their guidance counselors and college counselors, sharing their passions and dreams eagerly while the teachers listened wholeheartedly. Even better, the students who had signed up for mock interviews could meet up with the college counselors at scheduled times to practice their interviewing skills, preparing and familiarizing themselves in any and every way possible for the tough fight ahead. In fact, a few days before school officially started, students had already had the opportunity to listen to lectures to have a general grasp of why interviews are important.

Together, the 12th graders, their teachers, and the counselors are working to build a brighter future.
