On April 14th, Wellesley College hosted a public information session at SHSID. Their regional admission officer and five alumnae were welcomed to our campus, and over a hundred students and parents participated in the session. Wellesley College is a prestigious women’s college located in Wellesley, Massachusetts. After a brief introduction of the school and its curriculum, the five alumnae shared their experiences at Wellesley and their favorite moments on campus. A few also talked about their professors. They stressed the importance of female empowerment and the power of sisterhood and how Wellesley has provided a great platform for strong, independent women to thrive. Through this information session, prospective students and parents have gained more insight into the college.
